Photography Tutorial: A Quick Guide to Understanding Your DSLR Camera

Hi guys! With Labor Day weekend coming up, I know a lot of us are going to be out there taking pictures! :) Since we have a long weekend to practice, I wanted to share with you this basic intro to SLR photography. If you have an SLR camera and are nervous to take it out of auto mode, this is the tutorial for you. You may have heard words like aperture, exposure, and shutter speed and wondered just how on earth they come together to give you a better photo. I’ll give you a brief introduction on what they do and how they affect your photos turning out too bright, too dark, too blurry or JUST RIGHT. :) This guide will show you how to get the most out of your SLR camera and give you confidence to take it out of auto mode in no time!

To start, let’s put your camera in Aperture Priority mode or Shutter Priority mode. On a Canon, this is AV or TV. On a Nikon, this may be represented as A or S.

Aperture Priority

Let’s talk a little bit about Aperture. On both cameras above, the aperture is set to 5.6.
Photos taken with a low aperture let in more light, allowing you to take pictures in situations where there is not much light (like indoors and at night).
A low aperture will also give you a shallow depth of field. You know, the photos where one thing is in focus and the background is blurred?

In the photo above, the aperture was set to 1.8, a low aperture. One earring is in focus, the rest is blurred.

WiFi Password Hack

WiFi Password Hack
Wi-Fi is a development of the new technology that is currently very popular. It is a technology that allows an electronic device to transfer data electronically.

This also includes high speed internet connection. A device that can use Wi-Fi can connect to network resources such as internet via a wireless network point. Many institutions have installed internet connection within their premises. In order to enable sharing of the internet resource many of these institutions use Wi-Fi.

However, they are password protected, so that only those who are meant to use it my connect. Imagine you could connect to any WiFi network as you please. Imagine being able to use the internet whenever you want, as much as you want.

This application can crack WPA, WEP, and even WPA2 password protected networks. Wifi Password Hack can also recover lost or forgotten Wi-Fi passwords at home, work, and school! In the most updated version of this tool, it only takes 5-10 minutes to get Wi-Fi anywhere! It's on it's way to become extremely popular, and I will consider how long it will stay free. WiFi password hack is definitely worth the download!

How to encrypt anything

This type security is BUSINESS SECURITY It's all too easy to neglect data security, especially for a small business. While bigger organizations have IT departments, service contracts, and enterprise hardware, smaller companies frequently rely on consumer software, which lacks the same sort of always-on security functionality.

But that doesn't mean that your data is unimportant, or that it has to be at risk.

Encryption is a great way to keep valuable data safe—whether you’re transmitting it over the Internet, backing it up on a server, or just carrying it through airport security on your laptop. Encrypting your data makes it completely unreadable to anyone but you or its intended recipient. Best of all, much of the software used in offices and on personal computers already has encryption functionality built in. You just need to know where to find it. In this article, I’ll show you where and how.

But first, a word about passwords:
Any discussion about encryption needs to start with a different topic: password strength. Most forms of encryption require you to set a password, which allows you to encrypt the file and to decrypt it later on when you want to view it again. If you use a weak password, a hacker can break the encryption and access the file—defeating the purpose of encryption.

A strong password should be at least 10 characters, though 12 is better. It should include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers and symbols. If you find letters-only easier to remember, such a password can still be secure if it’s significantly longer; think 20 characters or more.

If you’re unsure about whether your password is good enough, run it through Microsoft’s free password checker. Never use a password rated less than “Strong.”
